Taylor Swift is easily one of the most famous singers on the planet. She can't even go to a grocery store without getting mobbed by hundreds if not thousands of fans. So why is she so "lonely"?

Taylor confesses that while having fame and fortune is great, what she's really lacking in her life are real friends.

“In middle school and junior high, all my friends ditched me, so I was really lonely,” she said. I was doing different things at the weekend and I wasn’t part of the gang any more. I just wanted to play shows and I think it got really irritating to them.

She added, “It’s weird, I thought I’d have so many more friends now but I feel like I’m less popular than I’ve ever been. My best friend is Abigail and we’ve been friends since I was 15.”

“I’ve never really been popular with the boys,” she added. “I had my first boyfriend when I was 15 and we dated each other for about a year, then I was perpetually single after that.”

If she wasn't rich, famous and absolutely gorgeous we would have a little bit of sympathy for her. But she's literally on top of the world now and probably doesn't even have time to be social with friends. Guess that’s the price you pay for fame. Taylor Swift has narrowly dodged the long arm of the law during her visit to Melbourne this week.

Government officials shook their heads at poor Taylor after she announced on Twitter that she'd been feeding wild possums in a city park!

After her Wednesday night show at Rod Laver Arena, Taylor tweeted:

"Tonight the band and I played a show, then hopped in the van and headed to the park for some midnight wild possum feeding."

Staff from the Department of Sustainability and Environment were not too impressed with Taylor's love for wildlife!

"We know people who feed wild animals often have the best intentions and that it is attractive to tourists who want to interact with Australian wildlife," said a government spokesperson.

"However, DSE advises people not to feed wild animals."

She did no harm to the animals so why should they even care? I mean heck she is "Taylor Swift" she can do whatever she wants!!

Perhaps the least surprising thing about the new trailer for Valentine’s Day is the final card that tells us the film will be released in February. That’s going some, though, because there’s absolutely nothing in the whole thing that will catch you off guard in any way. Judge for yourself, because we have it embedded below the break.

Is this familiarity a crippling thing though? The movie is certainly a star studded affair and seems to have lots of comic situations and broad scope for complex romantic entanglements. Those are the generic requirements for a picture like this aren’t they? Perhaps the truly clever twists and plot surprises are being kept back for when you’re actually watching the film. That was certainly the case with He’s Just Not That Into You, Love Actually and Feast of Love, the three films this one most closely resembles. I know that Joe Jonas is credited as providing the voice of a dog so that’s… something different, anyway.

I’m not really clear on whether or not the Roberts ladies Julia and Emma are playing related characters or not - IMDB doesn’t give Julia’s character a surname - but I really would have thought so.

This would also be a good place to tell you my anecdote about being in a restaurant with Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift a couple of weeks ago but for the fact that there’s not really any good place for anecdotes like that. Suffice to say, they do seem to be having a real relationship, though under the watchful gaze of everybody else in the room, it wasn’t a very touchy-feely one. Maybe they can break up just in time to give the movie a good publicity boost? Swift’s last line about hype seems certain to brew up a little chatter in the gossip blog circles anyway, a ‘Paul is Dead’ for the US Weekly crowd.

If you don't feel like climbing any trees or mountains with Miley Cyrus' "The Climb" track, then maybe one of her best friend's song can entice you more. Maybe you'd find Taylor Swift's music more interesting.
Taylor Swift, who was initially known as the ex-girlfriend of Joe Jonas from the Jonas Brothers band, is now one of the country music's rising superstars. At a young age, Taylor has captured the country music fans' hearts with her self-written songs. Her first hit, "Tim McGraw" was a delightful musical experience.
Taylor Swift's music has also crossed over to the pop scene. Much of it due to her good looks that appealed to the teenagers who are into younger music acts like Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, and others.
What Taylor has that her contemporaries do not have, aside from her CMA Award, is the ability to write potential hits. Her songs have been received very well in the charts. Add to that her beautiful voice and guitar-playing abilities, you are sure to see a good show.

Kanye West's latest outburst was at the expense of 19-year-old country music singer Taylor Swift, who was in the middle of her acceptance speech for best video award at the MTV Video Music Awards. During Taylor Swift's speech, Kanye West took the microphone from her and declared that Beyonce's video was the superior one, in his humble opinion. As Kanye ranted, the cameras panned to the audience to a flabbergasted and embarrassed Beyonce.
After the aggressive declaration, Kanye West handed the microphone back to a stunned Taylor Swift and the crowd cheered including a standing ovation led by pop singer Mariah Carey. After the incident, celebrity magazines and music magazines across the globe buzzed with the news.
The next night an apologetic Kanye West appeared on the debut of Jay Leno's new NBC talk-show to deliver an apology. He was there to support Jay-Z, who performed his single "Run This Town," which features West and Rihanna.
During Leno's serious sit-down with the singer, Kanye said, "It was rude, period. I don't try to justify it 'cause I was in the wrong."
This latest error in judgment is the latest public temper tantrums over the last five years for Kanye. His first award show tantrum happened in 2004 at the 32nd annual American Music Awards. West made a sudden retreat midway through the ceremony after losing the "Best New Artist" award to Gretchen Wilson, also a country music singer.
In 2005, West shocked the nation declaring that then-President George Bush, "doesn't care about black people," during a live telethon to support Hurricane Katrina victims.
In 2006 West took his outburst overseas during the 2006 MTV European Music Awards. He stormed the stage after his "Touch the Sky" video lost to Justice and Simian's "We Are Your Friends," suggesting his video deserved to win instead because it "cost a million dollars and Pamela Anderson was in it," Rolling Stone magazine then reported.
Later in 2007, West made another award ceremony blunder when he threw a temper tantrum backstage at the MTV Video Music Awards. According to MTV, West made a scene because he was nixed from performing on stage that year, and because he failed to nab awards in five categories.
During last year's Grammy Awards, West again displayed his self-importance during his acceptance speech for the award "Best Rap Album," in which he gave fellow rapper Common some sage advice, "I always tell Common you got to time the album out better, you can't drop them the same year as me, this is my award," said West.
Of his most recent outburst to Taylor Swift, he added to Jay Leno, that he would take time off to analyze how he's "going to improve." He also posted, prior to his Leno TV appearance, two apologies on his website.
On the following Tuesday, Taylor Swift appeared on "The View" and humbly and graciously took the high road when asked about Kanye's outburst.
